Latest activity - Mechanical support for cadaver lifting.

Dear all,
Recently, department has developed and is utilizing mechanical pully to lift the cadaver from formalene tanks. Then cadaver is dierctly shifted mechanically on the table with revolving wheels. Then that particular table is rolled to approprate place in the dissection hall and wheels are locked and make it immobile. As the dissection is over, entire procedure is executed in reverse sequence. In this way entire task is completed by the use of mechanical forces which reduces the use of human energy and efforts.

Actulllay, without use of mechanical pully, this task is very hectic  to do and  it causes severe permanent low back pain in lifters who are doing this hectic task  since last so many years. Hence, this mechanical lifting mechanism/system  is very useful to these people.

 Apart from this important benefit, another  benefit of this system is that one person can lift and shift any number of cadavers  without getting exhausted.

This mechanism is now regularly utilized happilly by our lifters .

Department is very thankful to the principal and administrative staff of Bharati Vidyapeeth for supporting us in this regard.
